We went to the Michigan Dunes for this day off. It was overcast and threatening rain in Goshen, but lovely at the dunes.
Look at how much I am growing up. I have a beard.
Earth-moving operations. The waves were not as fun/high as our last trip to the dunes, and the water was a smidgen cold, but there was a great sandbar we could walk out to.
As for the dunes, they are HUGE!!!
Not so often that one feels comfortable seeing one's children as teeny, tiny specks...
At the end of the day I had collected lots of cool things, driftwood, stones, etc. That's one of my favorite things to do at school, too, at recess. Someday I will find a use for all these treasures. Until then--piles in the bedroom...
