This was a pretty busy December for us, and so we didn't get ready for Christmas in earnest until Grandma Jan arrived by train from PA a couple of days before Christmas Day.

Breakfast at Gramma's House of Pancakes.

A nutcracker!

It soon seemed that we had waited too long to get a tree. Theo and Adam's investigations proved that Eby Pines was deserted, even after we waited the 10 minutes until the opening time of 10 a.m., as stated on the sign.

Mitch and the boys went over to the next door neighbor's, and he said we could go cut a tree if we had a saw...we did not (nor did we have any twine). They had finished selling trees the previous day. Hmmm...we checked out our GPS and called a friend, and ended up at Shenk's Tree Farm, so grateful to have found a tree farm at all.

Mitch was playing Silent Night at the Christmas Eve program, and Adam wanted to play with him while he practiced.

Our two little lambs...

Silent night, holy night, all is calm, all is bright...
What a wonderful time & cute pics! Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
