The great pirate vessel project. It was soon dismantled and became a huge airplane that met its demise before I could get a photo. Lego fun rolls on!
Detail: Please do notice that the pirate with the mug o' rum is the happiest looking one in the vicinity. Coincidence?
Adam was home sick on Thursday with a fever, and laid around all day and did nothing. Then he got to stay home today, too (24-hours after a fever rule) although he was basically just fine, but he had a lot of fun building while I worked.
The round pieces are hills and boulders.
And...ta dah...Ira can sit on his own for a few seconds at a time! Big news and big change of perspective for him.
But he still likes to lie around and chew stuff. We have noticed that he has begun to spend a bit more time with each toy, rather than just tossing them or shoving them away. Unfortunately, the toy he was most enjoying today began to leach some red dye toward the end of the day (it was an old one) and it has gone to meet its maker. But there are lots more great ones to take its place. And that's all the news that's fit to print (or that got captured by my camera)...
