Ira's Birthday

On the morning of Ira's birth, the next-door neighbors were having their roof worked on right opposite the birthing room. Didn't turn out to be too distracting (to us OR them, I hope!).

First views of Ira Khalil. He was so insistent in his LOUD cries that his brothers fled the room. They were back in a couple of minutes to ask what his name was.


He looks so much like Adam did on his birth day.



Cindy was with the boys during the labor and birth. She was also there for us during Willa's birth, and we are all glad for this more joyous occasion.


The cousins came for a visit.

Playmates-to-be? I guess Samantha and Ira will also graduate from high school together in...2028?

The boys (I should specify the older boys!) had a ball at Susan's house, but were ready to come home to check in on their little brother.

Grandma Jan arrived before the Big Brothers' bedtime...

...and Grandma Charlene and Grandpa Dale arrived before July 9 was over, too. What wonderful people welcomed Ira into the world!
