Samantha Marie Chupp was born on September 30, a few weeks early like each of her sisters! We were so glad to meet her, and agreed that she was very sweet and cute and kissable and huggable.
On October 1 Mommy had been a pastor at Assembly for one year. So we invited everyone over for ice cream and had a party! It was so fun to have lots of people at our house, and to stay up late!
One activity (besides eating ice cream) was doing magnetic poetry. That was fun! After most people cleared out we got going with the words.
Theo's poem. He was looking for "God" in the magnetic words, but couldn't find it, so Mitch said that sometimes we call God "father." I wonder what he was thinking about? No news here that fits with this poem. :)
Adam's poem.On a side note, this morning Adam brought me a plastic coin we got a few years ago at the fair, and asked what it said.
Me: WWJD. What would Jesus do? What do you think Jesus would do, Adam?
A: Make us...And make our bones... (wandering into the other room) And make trucks...
What better way to end a long exciting day than to read with Grandma!
