The leaves are beautiful on our street, and the skies blue and the air warm...a perfect time to head up to Michigan for some playing outdoors at church retreat.
One of these kids is Adam--kudos to the brave canoers!
So great for all the kids to be able to get in to water--cold, but 80 degree temps made it bearable.

Sunday morning Theo sat in front of us and shared a songbook with Sam and Sammy...it was so wonderful to see them singing and following along with the rest of us!
Ira found another clothing double.
Kayaking was the coolest, and a little brother to help move things along doesn't hurt.
The rowboat adventure was much shorter lived.
Last stop of the day (not counting DQ on the way home), the fen viewing boardwalk.
