Hisako, a friend from Goshen College and Japan, is living in Chicago now. She came to visit us at the beginning of a break in her grad studies. One day we walked downtown with Ira to deliver some food to the food pantry there.

Yesterday we took a tour of our favorite gardens in Goshen, in the cool of the morning before the summer-like heat hit hard.
Adam was on the trail of lady slippers--and we found a few.
