This week was Fall Break for Theo and Daddy, so we went to Iowa.

Unfortunately, it was mostly gray and rainy, but we were able to do some combining the first morning we were there, before the rain set in.

This time around I was more interested in Grandma's box of coloring and stickers than I have ever been before. But we also did some frog hunting, and the first thing I did after arriving and getting out of the car was check the window wells for frogs and toads. We did find one frog in the basement!

Uncle Chris came over a few times, which was great! In this silly picture he is recreating a "pretend" record that he and Daddy and Sara used to listen to when they were kids, songs about a giant, and an elf, and a clown and other fun stuff. Chris's face looks funny here because we (Adam and Theo) had just crashed heads behind the record jacket.

Tommy also came over a couple of times, and we watched Winnie the Pooh,

listened to Tommy read "No, Adam," (rather than
No, David!) which we thought was hilarious,

and played with matchbox cars on the tracks that we had found at the Crowded Closet. We were also glad to see Becca and Vince a couple times each. What great cousins we have! And how fun to go to Iowa, even though the trip is pretty long. As we were leaving on Saturday, Adam said that he felt "miseble" about leaving.
