Last week on Friday night we had quite a storm, lots of branches and trees down in town. Then on Wednesday night of this week, just as Theo had fallen asleep, the tornado warning sirens went off and we hit the basement while a few twisters flew over Goshen. The next day we saw the damage, not in our yard, but right next door (and throughout Goshen).
These contractors told Brent they'd write up a higher price for insurance purposes, and charge him less!!! They were just trolling the streets for business.
So that's what the inside of a tree looks like.
The folks who eventually took down both of the neighbors' big front maples (sniff sniff...) also took out our big round bush that had been partially uprooted.
An empty space...maybe perfect for planting a tree for our new baby one of these days?
