By the end of October we were ready for some dancing again! Mitch was able to borrow a string bass and get down with the band for the Assembly Barn Dance. The "Annual" dance had lost steam around the time we arrived at Assembly, and it was great to see such a come back!
I didn't feel quite up to dancing myself at that point, but enjoyed fully the joy others were beaming! The kids had lots of fun exploring the barn, making paper cranes, and eating snacks.
Chris and Sandi's pumpkins did double duty, first decorated with stickers etc., then carved just before Halloween.
It was a low-key, throw on a dress-up costume/wig sort of Halloween in our household.
The Chupp Bees stopped by for a bit to bring us the buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!
