Chicago Trip, Part One

This fall we took a wonderful trip to Chicago, a gift from some dear people to whom we are so grateful. Since October the pictures have been sitting untouched, and so they may not be in the exact chronological order, but you get the idea.

Happily on our way! Grandma Jan was a wonderful travel companion.

Views from the 23rd floor.

The pool, one of our checklist amenities.

Meal out at a nearby Chicago deep dish pizza place for Mitch's actual 39th birthday. Peekaboo!

Lighting soooooo many candles.

A quick stop at Target to buy clothes for the boys! :) We were hoping we hadn't forgotten anything...

The "bean" at Millennium Park.

The bean was great, but the pigeons beat all!

Hopping on the CTS/El bound for Tank Noodle!

Great company, great food!

Eggs and toast for the younger crowd.

Mmmmmm...

The Riverwalk was a nice place to explore as we waited for our boat tour of architecture to begin.

The view and information were great, maybe a bit over the boys' heads...

I'm sure I'll touch the bridge this time!
