The first weekend in November Daddy took us to Iowa to get in on the last of the harvesting. The worst part about going to Iowa is getting there--LONG, BORING RIDE--but we did a great job both ways. We slept a lot or looked out the window or listened to music. Mommy stayed in Indiana to attend some meetings, so Daddy was very proud of how we traveled, and very relieved.
We went out and rode in the combine!
IT IS BIG!!!
This is the newest, coolest John Deere tractor. Adam came home from the trip saying "John Deere Tractor" whenever he saw something that looked (to him) like a tractor!
You can see my cousins Becca and Michael in this picture--and some cute kittens we found under an evergreen tree! It would be so fun if we could be in Iowa and play with them more often!
