Visiting Tania's Family

On Saturday we went to Chicago to visit Tania. She is Mommy's friend from high school, and she has a little girl, older than us, Amani, and a little boy, Aymaan, about Adam's age. Mommy and Daddy went to Tania and Habib's wedding in Bangladesh. When we got to their house, we played with their toys for a while, and then had a yummy lunch. I (Theo) told her she was the best cook in the whole world! Then we all got ready and went to the zoo.

This is us all ready with our shoes and smiles on!

At the Zoo we saw a tiger! As we were leaving the Zoo, it was walking outside in its cage, saying "Ah-oo." Not "Roar!"

This lion got a big leg of something/someone to chew on. Amani said, "That's how it would eat us!"

Then we rode on a cool carousel. All the animals had real-looking glass eyes, but it went too fast to get a good picture.

Do you see how close I was to the monkey? This was a fun tunnel that led up to the glass of the cage.

We all climbed around on a family of gorillas!

But--the best part ever was this grassy hill which we ran and rolled down a hundred times!

Even Adam got into the rolling and thought it was super-hilarious fun!

For supper we ate at a Thai/Chinese restaurant. Mommy and Daddy thought the food was SO good! But we were pretty worn out, and we were asleep after five minutes in the car. Amani and Aymaan and their family might move this summer, but we hope we can see them again someday! Maybe they'll come visit us on the farm in Iowa this summer! As long as we have grassy hills to roll down, we'll have a great time!
