Vail has fun buses that we rode on every day. Only one of the bus drivers was annoying--he let the door close on Adam! A traumatic moment, but no injuries. He reminded me of Seinfeld's Newman. The rest of the drivers were nice, and how can you beat free public transport?

On the first day we went for a walk around Vail Village, then to church and to the Blue Moose for pizza.

On the top of the mountain we took a snowshoe hike (no pictures, too cold and windy), and Theo and Adam did some bungee trampolining.

Another favorite destination was the Vail Public Library, full of fun toys and climbing stuff and books, too.

On our last night in Vail the older two boys and I (Heidi) went tubing on the top of the mountain. This snowmobile was in the building where you buy tickets.
The night was cold, but the tubing was fast and fun. Theo lapped Adam and me a couple of times, but we also went down in a train of three a couple of times.
And of course, snow play was always a good time, in a local park...
...or on the snow mountains right in front of Grandma and Grandpa's condo.
We also celebrated Adam's 5-year birthday a bit early!
Our last morning in Vail we have a little wildlife viewing right from the condo, as a pair of magpies enjoyed some dry bread we put out.

...and once by the Grandma-Adam Team. Good times all around the little town of Vail.
