Cabin at Lake Shavehead

On Saturday I led my first memorial service ever, and by Sunday afternoon it was great to head into Michigan to the family cabin of some friends from church.

Ira and Natalie are about 2 months apart in age, and both of them took a bit of convincing to get in the water at first.

Natalie loved a floatie that let her walk around in the water, but Ira preferred being towed around in the dinghy.

Lovely rocky sand.

Sleepy Ira didn't last very long in the water.

Bless you, Greg, for the fun you had engaging Theo in conversation. Overheard:

G: What animal would you want to be if you could be any animal in the world?
T: I would want to be all of them.
G: Like, like a super animal?
T: Yeah.

Mitch and Adam in the dinghy at left, Greg and Theo in the kayak at right.

Thanks Amy, Greg and Natalie!

On the way home: Where's Ira?

Peekaboo!
