The week before Spring Break was so sunny and nice that we took a walk to Shanklin Park one afternoon.
In the background you can see evidence of the project to make a bike trail under Plymouth Avenue.
On Easter Sunday after church we headed to Iowa for the first leg of our Spring Break road trip. We got in on some newborn lamb action.

Feeding the sheep some hay slices.

Off to explore some more.

Tucker keeps on growing--so great to see him again (and Becca, too)!
We visited Great-Grandpa and Grandma Rhodes one morning, enjoying their company and toys as usual.
Listening to the story of when Grandpa Dale got lost.
The two days were crowned by an evening soccer game at IMS.
Vince is the most in-focus player...Tommy's back kept him on the bench.
On Wednesday morning before we left, Grandpa showed us a Snowcat similar to the one he drove in Colorado. Hope he can give us a ride someday! It's good to have them home in Iowa, and good to hear the stories of the fun in Vail!
